Nuca is a nervous but sweet dog who adores sitting close to her humans or under your feet while you're working from home. She would do best in a home with a fenced backyard, but she is prone to frequent barking due to anxiety or boredom, so an adult that works from home and can keep her exercised may be a best fit for her. Children under the age of 15 is not recommended, and it is unknown how she responds to cats. She may do best as an only dog as she's snapped at other dogs who have gotten in her face. However, they were much larger. A slow introduction might be needed regardless. For a shepherd, of course she is full of energy that needs an outlet, but she's also happy to just lay on your lap and chill out with you. She enjoys some chews, but she especially likes rope toys for tug-of-war. She hates cleaning tools like the vacuum, the broom and mot and will nip at them. She is house trained, crate trained and doggy door trained. She needs some leash manners to not pull too often, but she does well at the groomer. Bear was born on a farm in California from a purebred family of pedigreed Australian Shepherds. We got him as a puppy in Jan 2023 he's just over a 1.5yrs old now. He has been through training school and is well trained and great with our other dog (female mini husky) and newborn baby, but he is not good with new dogs initially until he gets to know them. He's incredibly sweet and loyal. Given his breed, he's extremely high energy and either needs a home with lots of land for him to run around, or needs to be taken out to play fetch 2x daily. We love Bear so much, but unfortunately we are moving to a city in Europe with narrow streets and no yard / few parks, which isn't fair to a shepherd like Bear that needs room to run in every day. So we're looking for the right family who has land and/or time needed to take him out to play fetch daily.

I have been fostering him for his father in the military, but due to new commitments his owner made within the military he will be unable to return to take him back. He has asked me to help find a new home. Murph is around 6 or 7, super super friendly, very smart and well trained. He is desperate to find someone to cuddle and play with. Would make a great pet to any family. Great with other dogs, very docile, doesn't bark or growl. Haven't exposed him to much to children, but he doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body, so I cannot imagine an issue. I have kept him as long as I can, but recently experienced a house fire and dealing with my dogs cancer, running out of options to help him. He deserves love in a home that is not temporary.

Maisy is a very energetic, 5 yr old Border Collie/Black Lab mix that would do well with lots of exercise. Our goal is to find a home with a good size yard and another dog that she can run and play with. She is friendly with everyone she meets, adults, kids and dogs alike. She loves to run, fetch, play with other dogs, go for walks and chew bones. She’s a smart girl and can be mischievous. Maisy uses a dog door, gets fed twice a day and has an after dinner carrot. She loves cuddling on the couch for TV time in the evening. She is definitely a companion dog as she will follow me to any room in the house. Maisy is very scent oriented and will sniff things throughout the house routinely. She digs in the yard and gets too energetic in the house. Maisy needs more exercise and active play with other dogs than we can provide. We know she would be happier in an environment that allowed her to be much more active.

Rascal is a very sweet boy, but he was found as a stray and the person who took him into his apartment has now lost his place to live because he had too many animals. Rascal was the odd one out. The reality is that he will not be able to keep him. My son has been trying to care for Rascal for the past 6 weeks. He primarily stays at my son's home along with his other dog. My own dog does not like Rascal (although Rascal has tried hard to be his friend). I take all the dogs to my house with a yard so they can get a bit of freedom. Rascal has separation anxiety, and we now crate him when my son is at work. He also has food insecurity, and we bought him slow feeding bowls which help him tremendously. He is house trained except occasional accidents. Rascal would do great with a household with other dogs since he loves playing chase and tug of war. Otherwise Rascal is content sitting outside in the shade.
