Story
Listen up, folks! It`s time to meet the one and only Tj, the black and white charmer of the Australian Shepherd mix world! This pup has got the looks, the personality, and a whole lot of spunk to boot.Tj may only be a year and two months old, but he`s already mastered the art of leash walking. He struts his stuff with such finesse that you`ll feel like you`re walking with a canine model on a fashion runway. And let`s not forget about his love for treats - this pup will do just about anything for a tasty snack. Just be prepared for some serious puppy dog eyes and a tail wag that could power a wind turbine. But Tj`s charisma doesn`t stop there. He`s a social butterfly who adores the company of other dogs. Whether it`s a game of fetch, a friendly wrestle, or a good old-fashioned belly rub session, Tj knows how to have a doggone good time. He`s the life of the doggy party, always ready to make new furry friends and spread the joy wherever he goes.Weighing in at approximately 54.00 lbs, Tj is the perfect combination of cuddly and compact. He`s got just the right amount of fluff to snuggle up with on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but he`s also agile enough to join you on all your outdoor adventures. With Tj by your side, you`ll have the best of both worlds - a loyal companion and a four-legged bundle of love. Now, here`s the scoop - Tj has been hanging out at the shelter since Nov 19, 2023. But fear not, my friends, because he`s currently living it up in a foster home while he patiently waits for his forever family. This lucky pup is experiencing all the joys of a temporary home, complete with comfy couches, tasty treats, and endless love. So, if you`re ready to add a dash of excitement and a whole lot of wagging tails to your life, head on over to the shelter and meet Tj. Get ready for an adventure filled with laughter, puppy kisses, and memories that will last a lifetime. Adopt Tj, and brace yourself for a whirlwind of fun, mischief, and a love that`s as wild as the Australian Outback. Trust me, folks, this pup is the real deal - a one-of-a-kind companion who will steal your heart faster than you can say `fetch!`

Story
FIONA IS IN A FOSTER HOME NEAR HESPERIA CA. Meet Fiona, a young, vivacious canine we rescued with her puppies at a county shelter. She is a petite little girl about 40 pounds and just the right size to handle. She has one sky blue eye and one light brown eye. Her personality is a delightful mix of sweetness and energy, and she's as friendly as they come. Independent yet loyal, Fiona enjoys a good play session but also loves to snuggle up and be petted and praised. She's smart and curious, always ready to explore new things. She's gentle with her fellow dogs and enjoys their company. A true water lover, Fiona would make a perfect beach companion, zooming thru the sand and fetching a ball or toy. However, she's not suitable for a farm environment. She adores the companionship of her human and always tries to please. Why should you adopt Fiona? Because she's not just a pet, she's a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a source of unconditional love and joy. Fiona is ready to make your home her forever home. She is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. Adoption fee is $325 Please email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to ask for an adoption application.

Story
Breed: Australian Shepherd DOB: 5/17/2014 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): blue merle Description:Hi, I'm Gracie, a gorgeous Australian Shepherd who is in need of a new home as a previously torn ACL which remains susceptible to re-injury has made my current two story home uninhabitable for me.I enjoy eating, sleeping, cuddling and chilling. I'm good with children and cats, although I might want to chase them, but just to play. I'm not good with other dogs inside or outside the home. I'm still active, but due to my previous injury I need to be in a single story home and my activity needs to be monitored. I tend to be anxious at times so I take  trazadone to help keep this under control. My owners let me sleep with them, I hope you will too.As you can see from my photos, I ride great in the car, I enjoy playing in the sprinklers and I've been to the snow. I know basic commands and I'm sure I could learn more.If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.June 23, 2024, 3:17 pm

Esther and Poptart are a bonded pair of Border Collie mixes who share an unbreakable bond, and they're looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Both Poptart and Esther are high-energy dogs who love to play and run. They are incredibly friendly, sweet, and playful with their human companions. Their love for snuggles is unmatched, and they'll happily shower you with affection and tail wags. However, it's important to mention that they both have a strong prey drive and are not compatible with other dogs or small animals. They need to be the only pets in the household. Story
This is Jack. He will be 10 in September, but you wouldn’t think so if you met him. He still loves to play fetch with his frisbee, balls and toys and go for walks. No health issues. He’s good with cats; and other dogs as long as they are calm and leave him alone. He doesn’t like any rough play. He’d prefer to be the only dog. No small children that will get in his space. That’s the problem we are having with him now. We have little ones around and he has snapped at one of them a few times, but not broken the skin. He tries to avoid them. He’s a pretty mellow and submission dog but has some anxiety. He’s smart and listens well and just likes to hang out where you are. He normally has long hair but I like to get him the puppy cut once in awhile. I can tell you lots more about him if you are interested. He deserves a good home to live out the rest of his dog hood.

Story
Hi! My name is Soda Pop and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 6 month old, male, Border Collie Mix who came to SB Humane as a transfer from county animal services. I am outgoing, friendly and I love to play. I am still just a pup, so I will need some help with learning my good boy manners. My ideal home would be one with lots of active family members who give me the love and attention I need. You would love to add me to your family if you want a friendly companion to take on all your adventures. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
