Story
Hi there! My name is Buckey Blue and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 2 year old, male, Australian Shepherd mix who came to SB Humane in search of a loving family to call my own. I am bouncy, playful, and full of energy! I listen when it's time to stop, but I get so excited when I see other dogs! I’m happy-go-lucky, gentle, and always ready for fun and new adventures! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

Part of a Bonded Pair! Meet Esther and Poptart, the dynamic duo you've been waiting for! These two are the perfect match for an active and loving family. Esther and Poptart are a bonded pair of Border Collie mixes who share an unbreakable bond, and they're looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Both Poptart and Esther are high-energy dogs who love to play and run. They are incredibly friendly, sweet, and playful with their human companions. Their love for snuggles is unmatched, and they'll happily shower you with affection and tail wags. However, it's important to mention that they both have a strong prey drive and are not compatible with other dogs or small animals. They need to be the only pets in the household. Additionally, Esther is quite the jumper, so a yard with a secure and tall fence is essential to keep her safe.
