Hi I'm Daphney! I'm a sweet, playful puppy found abandoned all alone. I'm deaf and my vision appears to be slightly impaired, so it was very scary being on my own, but I guess that's why I was unwanted. Those challenges do not hold me back from being a good girl and a fun-loving puppy! I'm friendly and already well on my way with housetraining. I'm looking for a loving, patient family that will love me for who I am and work with me on these challenges that can be overcome.My $150 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and spay when I'm a little older at one of my rescue's Fort Myers vets.If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under "adopt".If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Minnie and I met about 6 years ago, she was a stray puppy, about 2 months old & I took her in and it has been a journey ever since ! She is very active, loving & super kind. She has a bit of an aggressive side, but only when being protective. She enjoys being outside and she sniffs everything ! We go to the dog park every now & then, and it takes her some time to warm up to other dogs, but once she does, it’s good from there. I unfortunately am not in the position to keep Minnie. I live in an apartment and my schedule is so busy, so my time with Minnie has been extremely limited. I am looking and praying for her to go to a loving home, someone who has the time and also the space for her to adventure. And also someone who has a soft heart for dogs, did I mention Minnie loves cuddling ? She really does ! So please reach out to me, I really want this home to be everything Minnie needs and more. Thank you !

This big playful boy came to us by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services, as they were running out of space. We often pull dogs from other shelters that don’t have the luxury of time that we do at ARC. Ozzie is affectionate, playful and very energetic. It would be best if he went to a home that had adequate time to train him and had experience in handling large breed dogs. Our staff has slowly been socializing him with other dogs, but it’s still a work in progress. At this point, we are recommending that he does not go to a home with small children. Ozzie would also not do well in a home with cats. But… if you’re an active and energetic home with older children and the time to provide Ozzie the play and exercise he needs, you might just be a great home for him! A herding breed experienced individual or active couple.He is deaf/vision impaired, so please no small kids and no small animals. Would do great with an active person or couple. Knows all basic commands va hand signals.
