Story
Luey is a 6 year old male neutered Merle Australian Shepherd. He is a sweet dog who I have had since he was a puppy. Luey is healthy and energetic and loves to go on walks. He deserves more attention than I have time to give him since I work full-time and go to the gym in the evenings. I am hoping to find a new home for Luey where he can get the time and attention he deserves.

Story
Blue Boy is a stunning Miniature Australian Shepherd with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He’s searching for a patient and experienced forever family who understands his unique needs and is ready to provide him with the structure and guidance he deserves. Blue Boy is lively, intelligent, and affectionate. His favorite activities include car rides, playing fetch, and spending quality time with his favorite people. He’s happiest when he’s engaged with his family and loves being part of the action. However, Blue Boy also has some specific needs. He displays resource-guarding tendencies and isn’t fond of being groomed or visiting the vet. He’ll require patience, consistent training, and positive reinforcement to help him thrive in these areas. Blue Boy would do best in a home with adults only who can respect his boundaries and give him the structure he needs. Despite his quirks, Blue Boy is a smart and loving dog who’s eager to shine with the right family. His affectionate nature and energetic personality make him an incredible companion for those willing to invest time and effort into helping him feel secure.Requirements: Martingale Collar; Resource Guards food & high value treats; Muzzle for Vet and possibly grooming; Misfit- multiple bites trigger seems to be feet and being left aloneAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Dylan is looking for his forever home! We believe he is 9 yo and don’t know much about his past. He came to ASF thin, scared, and matted. Despite his past, he has flourished in his foster home. Dylan is a black tri that is about 35lbs and has limited vision in his left eye, it is not a blue eye. He is very tolerant and does well with brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, teeth brushing, taking medication, ect. He is scared of the noise clippers make. He is not a fan of most forms of water but enjoys playing in the rain. He is a very low energy pup. He will do best in a home with someone who is retired or works from home. He is crate trained. He does not enjoy car rides or leash walks as they stress him out. He struggles with separation anxiety, as many Aussies do, but he also gets stress related poops. He is best kenneled if leaving the house to avoid messes. Dylan is a very sweet pup that is learning to love the good life. He enjoys strolls around the yard, rolling in the grass, and taking a nap at foster mom’s feet. He gets the zoomies anytime foster mom comes back from the grocery store. He is okay with other dogs as long as they allow him his space. Because of his vision he gets nervous when other dogs are in his face. He also does well with other small animals as he is very gentle. He does not climb or jump so you don’t have to worry about him hopping up on the couch or bed, unless you put him there. He is food motivated and gets very excited for meals. He has picked up some tricks from his fellow housemates, like giving his paw for pets, and pressing some of the talking buttons. He is sometimes nervous around new people but is quickly appeased with treats and pets. Dylan is a nervous Nelly that has had a tough life but is a very sweet and gentle boy. He has the best Dobby ears and bleps anytime he falls asleep. If you are looking for a low energy Aussie , Dylan may be your man! He is neutered and up to date on shots. Here is the link to the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS!Apply at pawsfurrecovery.orgWe look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.If you meet requirements we will call you. Thanks for your interest in this amazing rescue dog!May 23, 2024, 12:04 am
