Story
Sadie was a dog that was born on a big farm in Ohio. Her breeds are known for herding so she loves to have a task to do or just be outside. She’s the most loyal dog we’ve ever seen and other people are amazed at how loyal she is to the family. She never even thinks about running away. If she is ever off leash she does her business and runs right back to you(unless a possum is in your bushes) She’s amazing with our 2 yr old son and she’s been by his side since he was born. It kills us to have to find her a new home but with another child on the way there’s just not enough time in the day to give her what she deserves. At first she might seem not as loving but once you get past her hard exterior and she knows that you are the boss there is a big teddy bear inside. Any questions feel free to ask

Story
Scherzer is five years old and we have had him since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, he has developed pretty bad anxiety over the last few years. We currently have him taking anxiety meds which help a little but not a lot. He randomly pees in the house and we have a two year old and he has growled at her just for walking near him. He hasn’t actually bit her but I’m not willing to take that chance. He ends up spending a lot of time in his crate because I can’t trust him around our daughter unless I can keep an eye on him the entire time. He is very sweet with adults and likes to cuddle but he should not go to someone who has little kids and/or other dogs. I really hope there is someone out there that can give him a good loving home.

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS!Apply at pawsfurrecovery.orgWe look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.If you meet requirements we will call you. Thanks for your interest in this amazing rescue dog!May 23, 2024, 12:04 am

Story
Cash is handsome herding dog who resembles a mix between an Australian Kelpie and a New Zealand Huntaway dog. Cash lived with a family for 2 years with kids ages 6-12, but sadly his family could no longer care for him so they turned him into the shelter. This boy has a good amount of energy and loves water. He would be wonderful for someone who loves the outdoors and enjoys running, swimming, hiking etc. He also loves puppies and doses great with dog friends. Cash is a herding dog, which means he loves play and run! He's very playful and mouthing is not uncommon for herding dogs as this is how they do their job. Cash has completed a board and train and is doing great in a foster home. To foster or adopt Cash please reach out. For more pictures and videos at cash please find me on FB or instagram, @kellysfostersflorida A few words from his foster: Cash would be the best dog. He's chill, sweet and listens well. Not hyper, loving and well behaved. Doesn't bark or jump up or beg. Sleeps well. Doesn't shed or smell after playing in the pool and outside all day and his fur is soft and cuddly. He's also the perfect size dog. He gets along with other dogs and kids. Whoever gets him will be very very lucky! (This is with a dog in home to play with)
