Story
I do not take this rehoming lightly, but our girl Summit recently nipped at a friend’s 2.5yo kid unprovoked. Our son has played with her, no issues since he was 3 and is now almost 6. I don’t know if it is just our friend’s daughter she doesn’t like but our dear Summit needs a home with no young kids. She is amazing with our small dog and other big dogs. She is a bit timid at the dog park when a lot of dogs approach her at once but does great with single dog introductions and will play for hours. She does not like walking with a leash but will go from car to dog park or from the car to the rest area on one. She would do great on a farm like we had. We adopted her when she was a year old they said. She had been previously adopted 3 times and returned within a week because she wouldn’t move or get up. It took us 1 year to gain her trust and I just feel so bad that she may have to start over. I really want her to go to a family with no small kids and a great yard and another big dog
