Story
Sweet girl Lily here we took her in temporarily from a home that wasn’t giving her what she needed. She’s very sweet and energetic and loves kids. She wants to cuddle with you but she also wants to play when you’re up for it. She is crate trained and good about potty training along as she gets taken out enough. She is a jealous dog though when it comes to other dogs and would thrive most in a single dog home. If we had the time we’d love to keep her but sadly she’s spending most of her day in her crate and she deserves more than we can provide. We are willing to drive to you or meet somewhere in the middle to rehome her

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Remington is a Australian Shepherd mix who turns 11 in Jan 2025.  He would do best in an active home or with a "job".  He knows all of his commands and will proudly show you all his tricks for a treat.  He has a great coat that is easy to manage compared to most Aussie's and is a sweet heart for grooming.  Remington needs to be in a home without small kids, he has had little exposure to kids and can be reactive to quick motions.  We do believe with time and training he can work through it.  Once he has adjusted he becomes a cuddle bug.  He has lived with other dogs his whole life but can be selective of new dogs.  He does not seem interested in cats but to our knowledge has never lived with them.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   His adoption fee is $400 To adopt Remington fill out an application at https://www.kakf.org/forms/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2025, 8:49 am

Story
Chex is an Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart of gold and a brain to match! This handsome boy is full of energy, fun, and personality. He’s always up for an adventure, but he also knows when to take a break and relax by your side. Chex is super smart and loves to learn! He already knows sit, lay down, shake, and he’s working hard on “wait.” Training time is his favorite—especially if treats are involved! He’s a sweet and affectionate pup who bonds strongly with his people. While Chex is dog selective and may prefer being the only dog in the home, he’ll give you all the love and loyalty you could ever ask for. If you’re looking for a clever, active, and loving companion who’s as happy hiking a trail as he is snuggling up on the couch, Chex might just be the perfect match for you. Chex is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines!

Story
Rosie is a mixed breed (DNA test results in photos above) with a stunning brindle coat and the most captivating eyes—one brilliant blue and one warm brown. She’s not just beautiful, though—she’s also incredibly unique, both in looks and personality. Rosie can be a bit reserved initially and will need multiple meet-and-greets to feel genuinely comfortable. But once she trusts you, her calm, sweet nature shines through. She’s a quiet girl who blossoms outside the kennel—becoming playful, curious, and even a little silly when in her element. She loves her herding ball, stuffed toys, and tasty treats. She walks well on a leash and enjoys spending time with people she trusts. Rosie will thrive in a single-pet home with experienced owners and no kids, where she can feel safe, understood, and loved. If you’re patient, kind, and looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and eyes you’ll never forget, Rosie may be the perfect match. Rosie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines!

Story
Willy and Raya are a charming bonded pair of pups who balance each other out like peanut butter and jelly! Willy is an Australian Shepherd mix with a calm, laid-back personality. He’s the definition of “go with the flow” – polite, gentle, and happy to hang out by your side. Whether you’re lounging on the couch or taking a stroll, Willy is your guy. He’s the kind of dog that brings a peaceful energy to any home. Raya, on the other hand, is a Labrador Retriever mix and the life of the party! She’s a spunky, playful, little busy bee who’s always up for an adventure. Whether she’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or charming everyone she meets, Raya keeps the fun going with her infectious energy and big personality. These two may have different styles, but they are the best of friends and deeply bonded. Willy is Raya’s grounding force, and Raya brings out the spark in Willy. Story
If you want to add love and tail wags to your family, I’m ready and waiting. I am an adorable and sweet 3 year old Mini Aussie mix who is looking for my Happily Ever After. I am active boy that loves to play, \ I am a god boy that would be even better with a little training or agility classes. I am the missing piece to completing your wonderful family. Investing your love into me will be so worth it!! I am good with children and other animals. I was rescued from an overcrowded rural shelter. Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family jbrradopt@gmail.com for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (Spayed, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Hendricks
