Story
Leo is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for a home that can provide him with the time and attention he needs. He is a friendly, energetic, and affectionate dog who loves to cuddle and thinks he’s lapdog despite weighing around 35-40 lbs. His favorite toys are ropes and balls, and he enjoys an active lifestyle. Leo does well with dogs and children but has not been tested with cats. He is housetrained and goes out every 1.5 hours. When left alone, he barks for a few minutes but then settles down.

Story
Bailey is 10 months old. We got her from a friend, but her and my daughter aren’t getting along very well. She is learning crate training, but is not potty trained. She has had her shots, but my husbands mom did them, so we don’t have records. She is a sweet, hyper girl who needs lots of love and attention. We just don’t have the room or the time right now that she needs.

Story
Hi, I'm Oliver! I'm an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix.I have long, black and white fur that needs groomed pretty often and I even have a special trait called Heterochromia! That means I have two different colored eyes, so one eye is blue and one eye is brown.I was recently surrendered to the nice people at FDHS because I need a home where I can get all of my energy out every day and someone willing to work not only my body, but my brain too! I really love humans and am known for crawling into someone's lap for an extra snuggle or two. I did struggle with the little human that lived in the previous home with me. I liked him and all, but sometimes his energy would give me anxiety. I really would like a home with older or no kids.I lived in a home with another Border Collie mix and got along great with her! I am known for playing a little rough and would love a playmate that can handle my tough-and-tumble play. I'm a very high-energy boy who loves to run and play fetch with anything you can throw! I like to pull on leash, so I would do best in a home with a fenced yard or someone who doesn't mind running after leaves and squirrels on long walks! I'd do the best in a home where someone can teach me to run around without a fence or a leash! I tried to do training before, but I was just a little guy and I didn't listen the best!I'm a very smart dog, so I figure out a lot of things quickly! I can open sliding doors, wiggle my way into trash cans, and even get on top of tall things like fridges. But since I'm so smart, I'd learn how to adapt to a new home really well! Because of my breed, I have a lot of instincts. I like to herd my humans when they leave the house, so I'll nip at their ankles or butts. I don't mean anything when I do it, but I can't help it. I do a really good job at herding things!I have been introduced to cats, but they're not my cup of tea and I'd do best in a home without them.I may have a bit of a history, but I have so much love to give to my new family. If you need a snuggly, loving and full-of-energy kind of guy to fill your home, I'd love for you to consider making me apart of your family!

Story
This puppy is a lab/shepherd mix and very loving and cute. He is housebroken and good with other dogs and great with people too . He is about 6 months old.Oakley is currently in the prison training program where he is housebroken, crate trained and learning lots of new commands. Good with other dogs and passed cat testing at the shelter. He has been good with kids at the shelter He sits before going in/out of a doorway and when meeting people. He loves getting his belly rubbed and loves learning new things. The commands he has learned are too numerous to list like bow and weaving through legs. This dog can read flash cards!!!
