After much consideration, we’ve decided to rehome Lola. She’s a wonderful dog, but her reactivity has increased, especially since the birth of our children. There have been a few incidents where she left marks on our 2-year-old, so she needs a home without children. Additionally, her behavior towards our other dog has worsened recently, so a home without other pets is ideal. Lola is a very chill dog when solo. While she enjoys going on walks, she is also a fan of just chilling on the couch or playing with a toy. She is also a big fan of being groomed and would lay down for hours while you brushed her and always receives high praise while she is at the groomer. Unfortunately, she suffers from a lot of anxiety, which can create negative situations that could be avoided with the ideal household. I was an outside dog before coming here, what can I say...I love being outside! I am also very good here at the shelter and have had no accidents. I know certain commands like "come" and "sit", and respond very well when people call my name. I really love playing fetch and my favorite toys at the shelter are all balls, I will grab one and wait for you to throw another one then try to keep both. I get along pretty well with the other older more relaxed dogs here at the shelter, so I would probably get along well with another dog with the same temperament. I don't jump up on people most of the time and will sit for a treat. If you think you have room in your heart for a fun guy like me please submit an application today!
