Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 2, 2025, 2:07 pm

Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 27, 2025, 10:05 pm

Story
Our litter of 6 puppies are named after royalty and we feel that they deserve a special life that is fit for a royal family.  This handsome soft and fuzzy boy is called Prince Louie and he is a Shepherd and Lab mix boy that is 20 lbs. and was born around December 1st 2024.  He lived outside in a small makeshift pen for the first 12 weeks of his life.  Critter Cavalry Rescue took in 6 pups who consisted of 2 female and 4 males.  All of them are sweet and friendly and going to be very easy going, fun puppies to raise to become smart adults.  Prince Louie is all boy his foster mom Jodi, says.  He is very people oriented which is amazing since he has not been in our care but since March 4th.  Louie is a puppy that loves to cuddle and be loved on. Recently at a Puppy Yoga class at the YMCA, he went from person to person greeting them with easy attention and occasionally kisses.  He is fearless and inquisitive and working on his crate training skills since he has never experienced a crate.   He is getting used to what outside potty breaks are all about and he is the softest boy with bunny rabbit feeling fur.  Prince Louie will be a 60+ boy when fully grown.  He is primarily a shiny black with the right accents of white on his chest and his toes. He is very active and playful and like most boy puppies, he runs and plays HARD.  Housetraining is in progress.  He is a fun puppy that plays well with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. He tries to show dominance a lot with the female sister and the foster mom’s female adult dog.  He is flexing his muscles.  He will probably be the leader of the pack in a new home if there are other dogs.  It will be important to keep this boy socialized with other dogs as he grows up and to teach him not to have everything his way.  Always important with confident dogs who love to control things.  Funny story…At yoga he picked up someone’s keys attached to their wallet and took off running through the crowd. He has some mischief in his soul.  Made everyone laugh.    If you are interested in this boy please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 12, 2025, 9:47 pm

Story
Chloe is around 11 months old and weighs about 50-55 lbs *Chloe was an owner surrender, she was too energetic for her home. They did not exercise her at all. She always enjoyed the amazon boxes the drivers would leave a little too much. Unfortunately, some people get puppies thinking they’re cute and forget they can be hard work. Chloe is the sweetest girl though. *VERY Active – Needs an energetic home and one that will provide proper exercise, training and consistency for this amazing girl *Very watchful and curious, loves to people watch *Loves toys, almost too much. Needs non destructive ones because she loves to rip them up *Loves children, but is not very well trained so could be rowdy with very young ones. *LOVES other dogs, small and big. Not one she hasn’t met that she doesn’t get along with *Working on house training, but just needs consistency *She is super smart and very loyal *Loves to be loved and petted. People pleaser. *Quirky and very entertaining. May lick you to death. Story
Little miss Lainey is a 3 year old Miniature Aussie saved from an Amish Puppy mill. She came to me shaking, scared and cowering in the corner of her crate. You could tell that little adorable face wants to feel relaxed and free. So, we established a quiet house environment with lots of furry friends to visit and teach her the ropes. It took her about a week to leave the crate and to go outside on her own, she's jumpy with sudden movements and is nervous around humans. It will be a work in progress to build trust. So, she would prefer a quieter home and would love the companion of another dog(s) and possibly a fenced in yard. She loves all dogs and after 3 weeks in our foster home she's venturing out in the yard corralling us like her instincts are telling her and showing small signs that she wants to play. She's even stealing garden tools and bringing them to the back door. She's beginning to bloom like the beautiful flower that she is. Lainey loves her crate, the "Safe place" and retreats there whenever she feels nervous. We added a gate around her crate so she can feel double safe. We are still working on potty training. She can hold it a long time but things are improving week by week. Leash training is challenging as she doesn't like to be that physically close to me when we are outside just yet, so I've been letting her run free in the fenced in yard. She comes when I call her and sniffs my hand for treats or to say hello, then skurry's off again. She loves scrambled eggs and butter which is a great enticement to come out of her crate to eat and socialize. With lots of love and patience she will make a great companion. She's made an amazing amount of positive strides in the short time with us. We know she will make someone a loving companion. Lainey is fostered in Kennebunk. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
This beautiful girl is called Kenzie, and she is from what we can tell,  a border collie mix that defies definition in character and charm and intelligence. This girl is approximately 4-5 months old.And weighs twenty eight pounds. Her adult weight should be about 45 pounds. Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of abuse or more accurately qualified as neglect.  She was located in a very small pin that was outside with very little cover. No straw low temperatures and food thrown on the ground without a bowl and frozen water in the water bucket her owner was actually homeless and not even in the area due to illness.   We expected a very emotionally damaged girl as well as physically harmed, but that was not the case.   Our girl Kinsey is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Full of life and resilience and confidence.  She adores other dogs young children comma is fine with cats.If that is what she needs to live with.  She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other.  Her charming personality is bold happy and full of smiles an energy.  She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good and good will come back to her.And that is what we have promised her at critter cavalry rescue. We will not settle for anything but the best. And our hope is that she will have a home filled with laughter and activities thar also include a home with a fenced yard, and long walks or jogs, along with excursions in the car that the best of great outdoor events. Kinsey is a dog that will make you live with a big soul and a ready expectation to good things to happen in your life.  She brings great karma to all who meet her.  She has the softest silkiest fur ever.  If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained and undeniable beauty, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Story
This handsome scruffy black and white darling boy is called Ross and we have determined that he is a Border Collie/Border Terrier mix that is estimated to be 5 months old and weighs 14 pounds and destined to be around 35 pounds as an adult.  This boy and his sister, Rachel, were abandoned in a small rural area of Tennessee at a cabin that was a parttime retreat for a family that lived 200 miles away.  Fortunately ,the cabin’s doorbell camera  caught these puppies being abandoned and alerted the property owner that these poor puppies were in trouble with no food or water anywhere around.  To make matters worse, impending frigid weather was on its way to their area.  The doors opened and rescue forces got to work quickly to go and pick up the puppies and carry them to a Critter Cavalry Rescue foster home.   This puppy and his sister are both smart and anxious to please.  Ross wants to be someone's special Valentine. He is crate trained and learning what it's like to be in a warm and loving home.  It's hard to imagine that only 2 weeks ago some cold-hearted person dumped him and his sister Rachel to possibly die from lack of care or food.  God was with them in finding immediate help and they have been worth every effort.  So sweet and loving and innocent.  Beautiful pups with wiry faces and sleek Terrier bodies that bring a smile when you meet them.  Ross is being neutered on Feb. 4th and will be ready for a forever home on Valentine’s Day.  We estimate that he will grow to be a 40 pound handsome boy that will bring so much fun, love and adventure to the person or persons who adopt him.  If you are wanting a wonderful rescue puppy to raise and love then please consider Ross.   Critter Cavalry Rescue transports from Nashville, Tn to the northeast and of course local Tennessee adoptions are welcome, too.  Please email asking for an application to ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2025, 9:45 pm

Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 2, 2025, 10:06 pm
