I bought Kashmere from a friend whose pet had a litter of dogs. Kash has been in the house mostly free to roam. But she is house trained and loves to be outdoors. I am looking for a home with someone who will be attentive to Kash and has a yard for her to explore.

Story
Buddy is looking for a quiet home where he can undergo heartworm treatment. He would do best in a home that has experience with his breed as well as a home with not many visitors. Buddy does warm up best to females but could warm up to a male with some patience and multiple meets. Buddy does need training with being reactive to quick movements and people coming in a door way. A home with no kids is the best option for him at this time. Buddy does like dogs and could go home with a friend that could help make him confident. A home with one or two adults that are active and willing to train is best for him all though he will have to be quiet during his treatment for the next year, once treatment is done he does have a lot of energy and does like to explore. Keeping his mind busy and teaching him new things would be very helpful for him. Call 508-867-5525 for more information or to make an appointment to meet him.

Story
Cortes is one handsome pup. Actually, he is beyond handsome: he is Gorgeous! You are immediately drawn to his face as it is symmetrical in coloring and accented by alert brown eyes. He has a beautiful medium length coat of black, brown, and white. He weighs about 45 pounds and when full grown, will probably be in the medium range (up to 50 lbs.). He is an Australian shepherd mix who is thought to be about 8 months old.Australian shepherd mixes are known to be very smart and friendly. They are loving family-oriented dogs with plenty of energy, so Cortez would be best suited with an active family. He enjoys the company of other dogs while outside in a secure area or inside hanging out. He also does well with children and enjoys interactions with them as well. It is unknown if he has lived with cats.We do not know about his past, but we do know that Cortez is working on crate and leash training. Both skills are a work in progress, and he has mostly mastered the crate. He just needs a bit more time to fully master it. He has already mastered house training, so he is a proud boy and ready to take the next step to working his house-training magic at his forever home. We do know that he is staying on course and with the help of his family, he will be a success fairly soon. It is important to remember that although Cortez is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment.Cortez will need the right guidance mixed with consistency, repetition, and patience. Cheerful praise and lots of treats will go a long way in helping him master daily routines. When considering adoption, please keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.Daily walks will support leash skills as well as socialization skills. (It will also be an opportunity to find out what commands he knows). It will be a new world to him with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along his walk. Please note: He may not be a running companion until at least age one when his growth plate closes.A secure back yard would be a plus, giving him free time to play and burn off energy. He probably would enjoy visits to a local dog park or going for hikes. At home he will also benefit from mental stimulation in the form of activities and play toys. That will keep him from being bored. Bring this boy home and find out for yourself on how wonderful of a canine companion he can be. * Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Cortez is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.March 27, 2025, 6:52 am

Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.
