He is very smart, eager to learn, and also gentle. He is trained to use hand signals, and already knows "sit" and "down".  He would love a family who will throw the ball for him and another canine sibling or regular opportunities to socialize with other dogs.Pepper Jack is good with dogs after a polite introduction to them. Once he meets a dog, he plays really well with them. He has ignored indoor cats and enjoys his visits with kids 5-17 so far. They all love him and the feeling is mutual!Pepper Jack is fully house and crate trained. He sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and happily enjoys a tasty treat when he is crated during the day. As he is deaf, he may alert with a bark, but only when he needs to tell his human something. He would likely do well as a WFH companion as he’s calm at home and content to relax during the day after playtime or a walk. He also walks well on a leash.Pepper Jack is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving family of his own. He will be missed greatly at his foster home and will make a fabulous companion! For more resources on adopting deaf dogs, please check out deafdogsrock.com and we’d be happy to answer any questions you might have! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Gordo is located in Providence , RI Gordo is an energetic two-year-old who will soon be three years old. He loves playing catch and tug-of-war, going to the dog park, and cuddling. Gordo gets scared of people wearing hats and hasn't been around children. Gordo gets very excited by new people and will bark but is easily redirected. Gardo listens to commands: sit, come, drop (in toy), bedtime, go peepee. Gordo was rescued along with his litter, his shots are all up to date. Gordo needs lots of space to run and likes lots of attention/cuddles as he is still a puppy (He will be 3 years old on May 5th). If you would like to learn more shoot us a text or call.

Story
I'm Paw, one of the two males in an adorable group of Aussie/Collie mix puppies. We’re 13 weeks old and each weigh about 15 pounds. Although we were surrendered because we were an unwanted litter, we are typical puppies: happy-go-lucky, silly, and playful. We have been in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and children, and we got along with everyone! Like all young puppies, we will benefit from someone being home most of the time at first. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.

Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 30, 2024, 2:10 pm
