Story
Ringo has been our family dog since January of 2012, when we brought him to our home at 8 weeks old. He was born in November 2011, bred from two other Aussie Shepherds on a ranch in Colorado, was weaned and then entered our home. He has always had the absolute best personality. He would regularly herd us as we walked with him, is protective, loving, and only barks when he feels danger. He is happy and energetic, but not hyper. He has never bitten anyone, and is extremely gentle with young children. He jumps high, catches balls and frisbees, and loves walks and runs. He eats a normal diet, never overeats. Whenever we take him on walks, people fall in love with him everywhere. And he loves any and all attention and affection. We moved recently and he doesn't have the freedom he used to and cannot be alone for more than a couple hours as he gets anxious. He is aging and losing his hearing but is otherwise very healthy.

Rehoming Loving and Energetic Peppermint About Peppermint: Peppermint is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd seeking a loving and active home in a one-dog family. This playful and affectionate pup is full of personality and enjoys spending time with her people. Peppermint is known for her expressive "woos" and her playful, talkative nature. She thrives on attention and enjoys following her human companions throughout the house. **Ideal Home:** Peppermint would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can provide her with consistent exercise and mental stimulation. Daily walks, interactive play sessions, and engaging activities are essential for her well-being. A home with a securely fenced yard would be ideal for her to enjoy outdoor playtime. **Important Note:** Peppermint is not suitable for homes with other dogs due to existing social challenges.

Story
Meet Darcy & Molly: A Perfect Pair Looking for Their Forever Home Some bonds are unbreakable—just like the one between Darcy and Molly. These two lifelong companions lost their home when their beloved owner had to enter a nursing home, and now they’re looking for a new family to love them just as much as they love each other. They may be opposites in energy, but together, they’re the perfect balance. Darcy, a 10-year-old Great Pyrenees, is the wise and gentle protector, while Molly, a Border Collie mix of the same age, is the playful and spirited one. Their differences make them a truly special pair, and we’re committed to finding them a home where they can stay together—because that’s all they’ve ever known. Meet Darcy: The Gentle Guardian 🐾 ✨ Calm, affectionate, and dignified ✨ A true gentle giant who adores people (including children!) ✨ Housebroken, well-mannered, and cooperative for vet visits ✨ Enjoys leisurely strolls, lounging in the yard, and soaking up attention ✨ Has arthritis and some age related spinal issues but is still happy and mobile ✨ Good with small dogs, cats, and even chickens! Meet Molly: The Free-Spirited Sidekick 🎾 ✨ Lively, playful, and full of personality ✨ Loves zooming around the yard and playing with toys ✨ Draws comfort and confidence from Darcy’s calm presence ✨ Well-behaved but thrives with daily activity and mental stimulation ✨ Good with small dogs, cats, and chickens Their Ideal Home 🏡 Only dogs or small dog companions: They do best without large, high-energy dogs. 🐾 A family who understands Darcy’s grooming needs: Great Pyrenees require regular brushing to stay comfortable. 🚶 Daily walks and space to play: While Darcy enjoys a relaxed lifestyle, Molly still has bursts of energy and loves outdoor time. 💛 A loving home that will cherish them both: These two are inseparable, and their future family should embrace their unique dynamic. Health & Care ✔ Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped ✔ Comprehensive senior wellness exams, including bloodwork ✔ Recently professionally groomed ✔ Happy and healthy, ready for their next adventure! 💌 Ready to Meet Them? We know adopting two big dogs—especially ones with different energy levels—isn’t for everyone. But for the right family, Darcy and Molly will be the most rewarding companions. If you think you’re the perfect match, email us at tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application here: https://tysonsplacerescue.org/cat-and-dog-adoptions/#adopt 🐾 Could you be the happy ending Darcy & Molly are waiting for? 🐾
