Story
Short Tail Shelly came to us from a kill shelter in Arkansas where she ended up by no fault of her own. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building.  Her approx. birth date is 02/14/22 and she currently weighs 40# full grown. We are guessing at her breed make up. She does have a short tail. This girl tested fine with cats. She has been vet. checked, spayed,  micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings includung rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is also heart worm negative. Her adoption donation is $250 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##1665161##

“HI ALL!!! My name is Tina (but I answer to hand signals!) I’m under 4years old as much as I love my friends here I really would LOVE a foster or forever home that can help me along- I have had a hard time training due to being deaf and some people just don’t understand me:( I would require a new parent to be very understanding and knowledgeable regarding hearing impaired pets or willing to work with me. I have been returned a few times due to my mouth getting me into trouble:( But, I know my forever home is out there!!! I’m the best girl ever I promise and I would LOVE a place to call home for now or permanently that has prior experience with a deaf puppy!!!”   ##575157##

Story
Hi, I'm Abby and they say I am very smart. I really want to find my forever home.I have been here awhile and I have an old injury and I would love to be in a comfortable environment away from these hard floors. Here are my thoughts. Please, no other pets or children, I want to be your one and only, so we can have lots of fun together.I prefer a fenced yard to play in. I love to learn, so you will need to continue my training and I promise to make you proud. I am a bit of a mix of cattle dog and Aussie, so breed experience would be a benefit to understanding me. Please come meet me soon!DOB 8/8/20 44 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
If you are looking for an attractive, young, single guy with sapphire eyes and a heart of gold come meet Ollie. His breed is a mystery, but possibly an aussie mix. He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but that is all part of his charm. It takes nothing more than some sweet talk and pets, and Ollie will become your new best friend. We are still getting to know him, so we are unsure about other pets and children. A fenced yard is needed due to his shyness.DOB  7/14/23   46 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Hello! I am looking for a new home for my mom’s dog, Tilly. Tilly is a wonderfully spunky Aussie poodle, about a year old. My mom was unprepared for her energy level and, unfortunately, can not give her what she needs. Tilly is house-trained, crate-trained, potty trained, and gets along well with other dogs and children. She has a TON of energy and loves to run! She enjoys toys, and treats, and will play fetch for hours. Tilly does bark and jump; the only two “bad” habits to consider. She needs a home with space to run and someone who can walk her often. She does like to jump, so small children may not be the best idea. We adore Tilly as she is the sweetest girl. We want to see her go to a home that can give her what she needs; all the love and energy in the world. ❤️ We are located in Northern Indiana and would like to re-home her in the next coming months, serious inquiries only.

She's between 9 months and a year old and we have no idea on breed could numerous breeds and is active as possible. If you want a dog who will be as obsessed with you as you are of them she's your lady! She wants all the attention and all the love. She does love her foster doggy sister even when the feeling isn't always mutual. She is a little too excited for her foster kitty brother and foster doggy brother. She does still socialize with her doggy brother even if he doesn't necessarily want me to. She does take a few mins to warm up to new ppl and I'm not exaggerating for only a few mins. She makes new friends in less than 10 mins with some treats and attention. She would benefit from some training and an active home or at least a fenced yard with room to run. She loves going outside even when it's too cold to be out there. She is fixed and up to date on vaccines. She also gets monthly flea, tick and heartworm meds.  Register to Adopt today: www.spayneuterassistanceprogramofmichigan.org/adoption-info Questions or Inquiries?
