Story
Boomer is about 1 year old, and he weighs just over 60 pounds. Boomer is one big happy bundle of energy! We think with training, Boomer could be a great agility dog, or even a dance partner, since he spends so much time bouncing around on two legs anyway! Boomer came to us from a home where he thought his job was to herd the children. Due to this, he should go to a home where the kids are older (we'd recommend 12 and up), and can help guide him to more appropriate activities. Boomer knows how to sit for treats, and is working on his "shake" command and his leash walking. For the time being, Boomer will need to be crated when unattended, as he will sometimes chew and ingest materials he shouldn't.

Story
Redford is a 2.5 year old Mini American Shepherd. I have had him since he was 9 weeks old. He is the smartest, goofiest pup. He learns really quick. Unfortunately with pros come cons. He has major resource guarding issues and he is a very fearful skittish dog. I would not trust him around children. He has been like this since I got him. I am looking to rehome him because I cannot give him the mental stimulation that he needs and deserves to curb these negative traits. I am looking for a knowledgeable, patient home for him preferably without children or any future planned children. Someone familiar with Australian Shepherds and their needs. I have already reached out to my local shelter, but because of his issues they said he would be a euthanasia candidate. He's a good dog, he deserves to live, so I am trying this.
