Story
Abandoned with his siblings, Heath found himself in an unfamiliar land, timid and scared. A cold-hearted person couldn't find homes for 3 6-month-old puppies, and instead of contacting their local animal shelter, they drove them to an uninhabited area, put them outside the car, and drove away! HART For Animals offered to give two of the found puppies placement in our facility. The third puppy found a home.
Heath is a very sweet boy, probably mixed with an Australian Shepherd mix, and also maybe mixed with a hound. Of course, we don't know what his breed mixture is for sure and we can only guess. Though shy, Heath is affectionate and will only gain confidence from a family that will give him the love and acceptance he needs.
Heath is gaining his confidence quickly, but he is also remaining a calm boy and is very affectionate. He is also keeping his den clean, so he should be easy to housebreak!
