Story
Abandoned with his siblings, Heath found himself in an unfamiliar land, timid and scared.  A cold-hearted person couldn't find homes for 3 6-month-old puppies, and instead of contacting their local animal shelter, they drove them to an uninhabited area, put them outside the car, and drove away!  HART For Animals offered to give two of the found puppies placement in our facility.  The third puppy found a home.  Heath is a very sweet boy, probably mixed with an Australian Shepherd mix, and also maybe mixed with a hound.  Of course, we don't know what his breed mixture is for sure and we can only guess.  Though shy, Heath is affectionate and will only gain confidence from a family that will give him the love and acceptance he needs. Heath is gaining his confidence quickly, but he is also remaining a calm boy and is very affectionate.  He is also keeping his den clean, so he should be easy to housebreak! Story
Hi, I’m Samson! I’m about 10 months old and I’m a cattle dog/aussie mix. I’m about 40 pounds and already neutered. I’m both potty and crate trained. I haven’t had the most fortunate start to my life. I’ve been adopted and returned twice and have been in my foster home since September. I really like it here but I’m starting to wonder if my forever family is ever going to find me. I need a special adoptive family who can be really patient with me. I’m very wary of strangers but men are especially scary to me. I take a lot of time to warm up so I need a family that’s willing to give me the time and energy that will help me be successful. I love other dogs and must have at least one other confident, playful dog in my forever home. Once I get comfortable, I’m a typical puppy that loves to play and cuddle. I just need someone to give me a chance! ##2178646##

Story
Chloe is a beautiful 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Hound mix who is excited to meet her new human companions! She is a very friendly, extroverted dog who loves to interact with people and receive loving human attention. She loves people so much that she also has some separation anxiety and does not like to be away from her best friends. Chloe is very energetic and strong on a leash and would definitely benefit from some consistent training and behavior work. She would also do best in a home without any cats. Do you think you can provide Chloe with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption. You are also welcome to come visit any of our dogs to see if they might be the right fit! Visits are done by appointment only. Ellie was a rescue that is house trained and been through E-Collar training. She is shy at first but overall very sweet and affectionate. We need to re-home her as she is not good with our toddler. She would be ideal in a household with older kids.
