Found on side of road near our house. We have an older inside dog that does not get along with other dogs so we cant keep him. He is so sweet and would be a great addition to a family or someone retired. Rip seems very trainable and willing to learn.

We bought this guy almost two years ago. He does not get along with our other dogs and has nipped at strangers that have come in the house. We have several small kids. He would do great in a house with adults and no other dogs

Story
Meet Jingle! 🐾 Jingle is a sweet young (appx 2 years old) Collie mix girl with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She’s spayed, up-to-date on her vet care, and currently living in a foster home with 5 other playful pups, two cats, and a young child. Jingle gets along well with other dogs, but she’d also be happy as the only pup in a quieter home or with a small, calm pack—large or loud environments can be a bit much for her. A peaceful home where someone is around most of the day would be her dream! She thrives with calm, patient people who understand that trust takes time, especially with men, but once you earn her love, she’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. She’s curious about cats—she might give chase, but it’s all in play, not aggression. Jingle loves being home with her people most of all, and she's happiest when she's included in the daily rhythm of life. This clever girl is crate trained, doing great with her leash manners, and she loves agility activities in the backyard! With a little encouragement, she could shine in agility sports. She’s also a top-notch package alert system—she takes her job as home protector seriously (but not aggressively!). A few quirks to know about Jingle: • She can get car sick if riding in a crate, but does fine buckled into a seat. • She’s an occasional escape artist—a fully fenced yard is a must, and a GPS tracker on her collar would be a smart addition. • Her recall needs work, so leash walks and secure outdoor time are key. • She recently started anxiety medication, and it's helped her tremendously. A calm home may alleviate the need for medication. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and loving companion who just needs a little patience and a calm environment to thrive, Jingle might be your perfect match. 🐶💕 📍Apply to adopt Jingle: www.houstoncollierescue.org

Story
Teddy is a loving and energetic 8 month old puppy! We are relocating and have to leave Teddy behind. Hopefully, we can match him with an amazing owner who is very active and can give Teddy the attention he needs. He loves being outside running freely in the backyard. Teddy enjoys playing with other dogs and biting his chew toys. (Teddy's crate, favorite blanket and chew toys included)
