Story
Ozzy is a stunning Boy with a heart as beautiful as he looks. Though a little shy when meeting new people, he quickly transforms into a gentle teddy bear once he feels comfortable. Found as a puppy, Ozzy was deeply loved and cared for by his rescuers, but due to health issues, they can no longer provide the care he deserves. Ozzy cherishes his morning walks, enjoys lounging around the house in the mornings, and is always ready for active play in the afternoons. He socializes well with other dogs at the shelter and is now ready to find a loving home where he can soak up all the attention, walks, and fun he craves. Could you be the one to give Ozzy his happily ever after?Est. DOB: 1015/2373 lbs.AAR does not transport for adoption.

Story
Hi there, I’m King! I’m an incredibly sweet guy and am excited about finding my forever home. While my past is unknown, my foster mom doesn't think it was a very happy one. I used to be really afraid of lots of things but I’m getting more comfortable, sweet, and playful day by day! It takes me a second to warm up to new people and am wary of new guests at first, but if you let me come up to you slowly and sniff your toes, I’ll pretty quickly let you pet me and will want to play! I’m potty trained and am close to being crate trained. I like to chew so I do best when I have some bones and dog toys to keep me occupied. I LOVE going outside on walks or runs and am awesome on a leash - I rarely pull unless I get scared by something! My foster mom thinks I’ll do best with someone who is willing to be patient with me and help me work through some of my fears, like getting into cars, but we’re confident I’m going to be a great dog for the right family!

Story
In Spring Texas Rodeo is an 11-month old Miniature Australian Shepherd puppy (approx. 34 lbs) with loads of energy! He is a very happy guy who just wants to play and be around others. Rodeo was originally surrendered to ASF because his owners did not have enough time to devote to him. He is potty trained with minimal accidents and crate trained. Rodeo has had a blast with his foster siblings (a male and female Aussie) and would love to have a playmate in his furever home. His ideal sibling is a young (young at heart) but well-trained dog who wants to run and play tug-of-war with him, but who can also show him how to behave. He is still working on some leash pulling and jumping up, but is overall a very-well behaved pup. Because he is a little energizer bunny, he needs a family who can devote time to playing with him and exercising with him. He also needs lots of toys to keep him busy! Rodeo loves kids and is a fan of all the neighborhood children, and they love him too! He has not been tested with cats. He is neutered and up to date on preventatives and vaccines. Rodeo is an absolute sweetheart with a big heart who loves to be a part of the “pack” and every family activity. He has so much love to give! If you are interested in welcoming Rodeo to your family, please fill out an application at: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
Gentry is an Australian Shepherd. We think he may be around 6 years of age and weighs almost 50 pounds (he needs to lose weight). Gentry is a good boy and well-behaved in the house. He is crate trained but does not need to be crated and we do not crate him. He will sleep in a crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash and comes when called. He loves treats and is treat-motivated. He rides well in a vehicle without restraint but does need to be lifted inside. He uses the potty pads in the house if he cannot get out when he needs to go. Gentry is a low-energy dog and spends most of the day inside lying on one of the dog beds. He goes outside to potty and explore the yard. He barks when he gets excited. Gentry will do best in a home with another adult Aussie to encourage him to play. Gentry took refuge at a home out in the country. He had multiple bites and bruises around his neck and stomach, suggesting one or more dogs or coyotes had probably attacked him. It has been two years and his wounds have healed, yet he still runs to the house whenever the other dogs get too rowdy. Gentry is sweet but timid. He needs a home with gentle, loving people to help him gain confidence and overcome his fears. He is a wonderful dog that deserves a fabulous forever home. Gentry must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and must have a secure fenced yard where he feels safe to explore and play. Gentry is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Lyme, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. He was treated for heartworms using the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain) and is now heartworm-free. Gentry will require periodic grooming because 1.) his tail has been completely cut off, so feces collects back there, and 2.) he gets extremely hot in the summer, and shaving helps him cool down. We will consider both in-state and out-of-state applications for Gentry. His in-state adoption fee is $200 and his $450 out-of-state adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted company to the NE or Pacific NW. He can be transported after he is adopted. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this good boy.
