Story
Meet Geneva!Geneva is one of the sweetest dogs her foster family has ever met. She currently lives with another dog and two young children, fitting right in with both. Playful and affectionate, Geneva loves spending time with her people and responds well to directions. She is house-trained and would do great in a home with or without another dog.Her foster family found her abandoned on the side of the road after she had been hit by a car. With lots of care and love, she made a full recovery, even undergoing hip replacement surgery. Now, she runs and plays just like any other 1 year old dog. However, it’s recommended to be mindful around much larger or aggressive dogs to ensure she stays safe. This sweet, resilient girl is ready for a forever family that can give her all the love and time she needs. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Dustin!Dustin is an almost 2 year old Mini Australian Shepherd, who is looking for a very patient and loving home. He`s quite timid around new people and surroundings and will need time to decompress and come out of his shell.Dustin is VERY dog friendly and loves to play with his friends. His little wiggle butt is adorable with his friends. He`s been exposed to chickens and would love to herd them if offered the chance! However, he`s unsure of cats. Before rescue, he was herding cattle on a ranch, but now enjoys the calm rest of a loving home. He needs a secure fenced yard to keep his herding tendencies safe at home.Dustin is house trained and will let you know by pacing the back door or chatting about how he needs to go outside. He really loves his crate! Like so so much. He naps the days away, safely tucked inside with the door open, and then sleeps all night - without a peep!Dustin is timid around new people and would benefit from a home either without kids or with older kids who can respect his space. He prefers women and it would be best if his forever home had another dog so he can learn how to be a dog.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Jerry!Jerry is a sweet, handsome 8 week old puppy who loves to explore and play! He started out as a stray with his siblings but despite his difficult background, he is affectionate and loves to be around people. He`s currently living in his foster home with his sister and brings lots of joy to them! He is great with kids and he doesn`t show any resource or food guarding signs with people or his sister. He is currently working on potty training and since he`s learning, he`ll need patience and consistency.Jerry is playful and curious about the world around him and he would love to join you on your adventures! When it comes to sleep, he`s a champion. He does great sleeping in his crate: he cries for a moment but settles in quickly and falls asleep, especially if he has had time to play before returning to the crate. Since he`s a puppy, he is teething and will need patience and consistency as he`s learning house rules. He`s sweet, playful and calm, and enjoys belly rubs, and climbing into your lap. He will be such a wonderful addition and he`s excited to have a loving family welcome him home!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Kramer!Kramer is a fun-loving, playful pup with a big personality! She absolutely loves treats, toys, and playtime. This smart girl is already showing great progress with training—she’s working on potty training, learning to sit, and getting more comfortable with crate time each day.Kramer thrives with companionship and would do best in a home with another dog to keep her company, as she’s showing some signs of separation anxiety. She’s great with kids and even likes cats, making her a wonderful addition to a family looking for an affectionate and social pup.At just 10 weeks old, this Aussie mix is eager to learn and ready to bring joy, energy, and endless cuddles into her forever home!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
