Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Meet Meeka’s Pups! Our story began in the most dramatic way—our mom, Meeka, arrived at the rescue in active labor with us! Meeka is a beautiful Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, and she brought nine of us into the world, each with our own unique look. Some of us have long legs, while others are low riders with long bodies and short legs. Our coats come in all different colors and textures, making us a truly one-of-a-kind litter! We are adventurous little explorers who love zooming around the yard, collecting sticks, and pouncing on our siblings. Toys are our absolute favorite—whether they squeak, bounce, or are extra fluffy, we love them all! After all the fun, nothing beats curling up in a warm lap for some snuggles. If you're looking for a playful, adventurous, and affectionate companion, one of us might be the perfect match for you! Freckles looks like he's gonna be a lowrider. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms
