Story
Meet Brody, a 7 year old Aussie mix that is being foster in NJ! Brody is a handsome, outgoing mature mountain man! He is looking for an outdoorsy person to provide him with love and attention he needs. Brody could easily carry his own supplies on a camping trip. Brody is 100 lbs blue merle with a copper trim, one blue & brown/blue eye! Brody gets along with other dogs but does want to be the dominant male in the household. He loves car rides and is well behaved on vet visits. Brody loves to be outside! Brody is crate trained and could benefit from training reinforcement. Brody has shown some signs of resource guarding at his foster and could use training on management. Brody will not be placed in a home with small children. Story
Aspen is a happy playful 4 year old dog with 3 legs. She lost her leg 3 years ago from bouncing around and getting caught in her lead and falling off the steps. Despite having 3 legs it has not slowed her down at all. She still runs, jumps, and plays like she did before she lost her leg. She loves people and other animals but she thinks they all want to play wrestle. She is good with our kids. She loves to love her people and be loved by her people. Aspen has never hurt anyone. Overall she has been a great dog. We just don’t have as much time for her and we don’t have the room for her to run anymore. I have added a video so everyone can see that her missing a leg doesn’t slow her down at all.

Beretta is a very good dog and has a ton of energy. Unfortunately our plans to fence in our back yard at our new home have not worked out, leaded to her spending more time in her crate than we would like. She has more energy than we can let her get out. She is great with our kids (3,5,7 years).

They’re now 7 weeks old and are as sweet and playful as can be! Look at those gorgeous blue eyes!! We sent out a DNA test on the pups and it looks like mom is a Mountain Cur mix as we suspected and dad was full Australian Shepherd! These are going to be some smart and lovable pups!!   Fostered in Christiansburg, VA.   To fill out an Adoption Application, please email littlebigdogrescue.25@gmail.com Adoption fees are $250 unless otherwise stated.  Senior dog adoption fees are $200.  100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter.
