Story
Meet Hank! Hank is an distinguished gentleman on the search for a new home. He needs a home with no small kids. He doesn't share his food well when kids are around so he needs either no kids in his home or teenagers who know how to respect his boundaries. Hank does fine with dogs his size or smaller, but doesn't love dogs that are larger than him. He's a big boy, around 75 pounds. He could stand to loose a few pounds, but what better way than hiking and walking with his new family member!? Hank has been around cats, but prefers they stay away from him and his space. Hank is used to being groomed and does know how to use a doggy door. He does get allergies which result in itching and ear infections from time to time. His new owner will just have to manage them and be aware that they may occur. Apply to meet this big boy, and be prepared to snuggle!

Story
Trip is looking for a new home to dote on him and give him the love he deserves. He hasn't always had the easiest life. His parents recently separated and he needs to find a new home. He does ok with some dogs, but not all. He'll need to meet any potential new fur siblings. He seems to be fine around cats and has been around kids. Mostly teenagers, but we think he'd be fine around most ages. He's an older fella but still has a lot of life and love to give. Will you take a chance on him? **Trip's adoption fee has been sponsored in full by a generous donor.**

Story
Meet this cutie Bourbon. Bourbon hasn't had the easiest start to life. He was outside a lot and in a dog pen a majority of the time. Some kind folks helped him get out of that situation and now he is ready to start fully enjoying his life! He seems to do well around other dogs, and decent around older children. He is shy and a bit reserved at first, but within 15 minutes he started to trust us and come around for dog treats and cheese! Once he's comfortable with his people and surroundings, he shows his personality. He has lots of energy and needs an outlet for that. He will eventually roll over and into your lap for some quality cuddle time and belly rubs. When he met the cats at our center, he wasn't too concerned about them, but we do not have any history of him living with them. If you're in the market for a cute Aussie like Bourbon, apply today!

Story
Oakley has been in our family for almost 5 years (adopted her at 8 weeks old), but unfortunately we no longer have the ability to give her the full life she deserves. Shes a high anxiety breed and ultimately under stimulated which is resulting in her having accidents when left alone at home. When exercised well and appropriately stimulated/worked she does great.

Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.

These pups are in Cheyenne, Wyoming too!

Story
Trax is 4 years old and we rescued from a shelter at 8 weeks old. He loves kids and other dogs and gets along with our cat. We want to rehome him to a family that lives in the country. We lived on acreage where he loved to run and play with the kids. The kids moved on and we moved into town. He misses the country life and the kids and is sad and depressed.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Toby! He is a new graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Toby is a sensitive soul. He didn't have the easiest start to life. He was very skinny when he arrived at another Wyoming shelter. So, understandably, he can be a bit guarded around his food. He sometimes wants to be left alone in his kennel to chew on his bones in peace. Due to this, Toby should not go to a home with small kids. He likes to play with his rope and ball when he is outside. When there are multiple dogs out, he tends to stay by his human. If it's just him and one other dog, he does well playing with them. Before Toby sent to PACK, he lived with cats in his foster home. He did fine around them. When it comes to kenneling, he prefers his kennel to be covered 1/2 way. But if it is, he does well in his kennel. Toby won't be the dog to greet everyone and run up to strangers. He's a bit more reserved. But once he knows you and knows you're safe, he will be bonded to you! If you think you and Toby may hit it off, apply to meet him today!
