ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Chowder, a Cairn Terrier mix, 1 year old and 17 lbs. He is an energetic guy who needs to get daily exercise. Chowder loves to play with chew toys and fetch a ball.   He is an outgoing boy who would do best in a home with no small children due to his rambunctious temperament. He needs to be with an experienced dog handler who can work with him on further training of the basic commands.  He gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit too assertive as he wants to play even if they don't want to be engaged.  Chowder rides well in the car, sleeps well in a kennel or corral and is house trained with access to outside.  He is up to date on his vaccines, neutered and microchipped. His Adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  August 19, 2024, 6:12 pm

Story
Enzo was born December 2021, he loves running around a dog park and playing with other dogs. For being a husky mix, he doesn’t bark, which is surprising. Doesn’t shed, he only slightly sheds after a bath. Enzo would do well with going to the park twice a day OR if he had a dog friend at home. He loves other dogs. Crate trained, if you’re away from home for longer than 4 hours, he should be left in the crate or he may get into trouble. IG: enzoo2135
