Story
I'm trying to be a responsible pet parent. I took in an abandoned cat, during the blizzard. She is very sweet and friendly but is also scared. She is among other cats and is not at the point of being comfortable venturing into the kitchen to eat with them. She would do well with being an only child. She loves to be held and will lie next to me. But as soon as she hears or sees one of the other cats, she scatters. She's been hiding and sometimes won't eat, because she's afraid. I have to feed her in her hiding spot and keep litter near her. I hold her every day, to get her used to me and the other cats. She quickly got used to me, when she sees me. Two of the other cats have been trying to befriend her. But I would be selfish to keep her and heartless to put her back outside. Lately, she's been crying every night. And I know some little girl would adore her. My granddaughter wants her, but she recently got a dog.
