Egyptian Mau kittens & cats in Gering, Nebraska

On 08/23 I found Nala at a Humane Society in WY. It was my first encounter with a Bengal cat. And if you are not familiar with a Bengal, I would suggest you read up on that. As you can see she was initially named Tigress and the description said she could be easily petted but she was not one to be held or carried. And as of todays date 02/25 that remains true. She loves to be brushed but still is not one to jump in my lap and I'm unable to pick her up and that makes it difficult to take her to the vet. The initial description also said she was an inside/outside cat which was fine last year but the management at my apt complex has ruled that all pets must be harnessed and leashed when outside which makes that impossible. So, needless to say neither of us are happy about that and I do wish her a happy life. She is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She is also quite vocal, typical of a Bengal and had fun climbing in our apple tree out front but came running for treats
