We are working on going potty outside. She has been doing really good if she is on a schedule. But you have to go out with her or she won’t go. Crate trained: yes. She goes to her crate for security. She also likes to eat in there. Good in the car: yes, she gets in and goes right to sleep! Good on a leash: She is doing pretty good on a leash. Energy level: Low to Medium Need a fenced in yard: it’s not necessary, but I think she would love it if you had one. Dog Friendly: Yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No, she doesn’t need to have another dog, but she has really started to enjoy spending time being with the other dogs. Although, she would be just as content being the center of your universe. Cat Friendly? Yes Kid Friendly: yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 8 and older - Blueberry is very sweet, but may knock over younger kids. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about? Blueberry embodies all the good in dogs even when humans haven’t been so kind. Blueberry is the sweetest little house hippo there ever was. She can be shy if she doesn’t know you, but it doesn’t take very long for her to warm up to you. She lives for love. She loves taking baths and has even fallen asleep once in the middle of it! He can be a cranky old man when provoked.   Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?   Theodore is a typical bulldog. Bullheaded! He is the king and we are his peasants. He loves to play with balls and enjoys short walks. Nighttime is spent on the couch with a nice toy. He thinks the worst thing on the planet is a vacuum cleaner. Dog Name: Petunia Breed: Bulldog/American Bully mix? Sex: female Age: 5ish Weight: ~ 60 lbs Medical Needs: Needs spayed. She has been treated for heart worms already and will need a retest Nov 1st. Once officially cleared, she can be evaluated for spay. Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: Yes Good in the car: Yes Good on a leash: Yes Energy level: low to low/medium Need a fenced in yard: No, leashed walks would be fine. Dog Friendly: Yes. I don’t think she’d be a fan of a hyper or overly dominant dog. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? No, not cat friendly Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any with supervision. Sweet, sweet Petunia. I just love her to pieces! Since she came from Texas, she has birthed and raised a litter of 8 puppies. She’s clearly had multiple litters in the past with the boobies to show it. She was the best, most tolerant little mama dog you could imagine. Once her babies were weaned, Petunia was treated for heartworms and has completed her month of rest. Now that all of those things are behind her, she is ready to find her forever home. I think she’d be great in most any home. She’s not much for playing with toys but she loves a good bone to chew on. She is a couch potato extraordinaire! She will nap all day if you let her. She also loves to get out and go for a ride to the beach or anywhere you’d like to take her. She’s super friendly with everyone she meets.
