Oh boy, here comes roly poly Mr. Stromboli!!! This hilarious dude is so full of personality and is super friendly. He is spectacularly silly and makes his presence known everywhere he goes with his snorts. Stromboli is very treat driven and he loves to play with balls and toys. We think he will do well with people of all ages, given how friendly he is. It should be noted that Bulldogs are a special breed and we think that his adopter should either have experience with Bulldogs or know of some of the quirks they may encounter. Brachycephalic breeds (short faced dogs) tend to have a harder time breathing than their longer snout friends. This can cause shortness of breath while exercising and can be dangerous in extreme temperatures. Stromboli seems to be quite sensitive to overexertion and we do not recommend that he over due it with exercise or be outside during high temps. His owner should also be aware that he may need extra grooming care around his face wrinkles to prevent future yeast infections. We would recommend getting him acquainted with a veterinarian after adoption and discussing his care with them. Stromboli was used as a breeding dog so he has a tendency to mount dogs or people when he is excited. Age: 2 yearsMixed Breed: English Bull Dog MixOther Dogs: Enjoys other dogs, sometimes mounts. Cats: Slow intros with cats would be best, he mostly was more interested in treats than our cat. Kids: OK with all agesWeight: 56 poundsHome Type: Ok for apartment, only needs short daily walks.
