Story
Liv is a mix of golden retriever and some kind of sheppard, we do not know. We adopted her as a puppy and have had her for 3 years. She has been to a 3-week dog training camp, where she learned to sit, stay, place, and is trained with an e-collar. Even with her training, Liv is a high-needs behavioral dog. She is a reactive dog- so she will bark at strangers, unknown sounds, and other dogs. She does great at a dog park with other dogs, but not on a leash. We are rehoming her because of recent incidents- 1) she nipped at our 1 year old. She has never shown aggression before/since but we do not recommend small children in the home. 2- She got out of the backyard and attacked a dog passing by on the sidewalk. The other dog owner intervened, and Liv did bite her. She has never shown aggression to humans before or after that. Besides those incidents, Liv is incredibly sweet. She loves snuggles and being with humans. She needs a home that can attend to these behavioral needs.
