Story
Meet our girl Chai! She is a 3 year old English Setter and is looking for her furever home, could that be yours? She is a medium sized girl at 47lbs. Chai absolutely ADORES and craves human affection and attention. She will do best in an adult home where she will be a central part of her family with lots of human companionship during the day. Chai needs lots of room to safely run everyday. True to her breed, she is a high energy gal and needs her daily exercise. She loves to race around with her toys in our fenced play yard. Chai seems to like calm dogs that play gently and may not mind a calm medium sized canine friend in her home. No cats or small dogs for Chai please. For more information about how to make this sweet girl your next 4-legged family member, please contact Tracey at tracey.d@poainc.org and complete an adoption application at www.poainc.org.

Story
My name is Mr. Moe and I am in search of a great family that loves my handsome breed line which is English Setter.  I am 41/2 years old and my owner released me and my look alike brother to a vet who kindly allowed us to stay at her clinic for a while.  We were not neutered nor updated on shots and heartworm.  We are now!   I am 55 pounds and I do NOT have to be adopted with my brother.  We are both independent boys that love people and are told we are very handsome and rare to find as rescue dogs.  I have a fair amount of energy and it would benefit me to be adopted by someone with lots of energy and the ability to be outside to exercise with me.  I would love a fenced yard too.  I think kids would be fun to hang out with and I am good with other dogs if introduced slowly and they don’t jump around in my face.  I am a sweet and intelligent boy.  I am looking for someone to really give me some time and a chance to be taught some great manners.  I can learn quickly and I certainly will return to you every ounce of love and devotion that I have in my heart and soul.  I am ready NOW…. please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and tell them where you live and that you are interested in making me a part of your life! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 18, 2024, 12:50 pm

Prima is a very sweet pup. She is very shy and quiet, when she gets to know you she will run over with a wagging tail and a million kisses. She has a very good temperament. She was born on 12/21/2023 She will be ready to move into her forever home by Valentines! She will be dewormed as well as have her first round of vaccines. I can provide any additional information. Her mother is Cane Corso mixed with Husky and her father is a pure bred Golden Retriever so she will be a really big dog. If you are interested please provide some information about yourself and the type of home she would be going to.

Story
Jasper is a 2 year old golden that wants to work and wants to please. He is highly trainable and would like a lot of activity. We adopted him a few months ago and have worked with him a lot at classes and with training, but he needs someone experienced with dogs and no children due to his insecurity around food and his history of leash pulling (which has improved significantly with a halty and harness). He bit an adult family member surrounding his food issues so we cannot have him in the home with small children.
