Special Adoption by Advance ApplicationEmail staci@hsscg.orgRoman is a new staff favorite who is hands down the sweetest guy in our care right now. Although he had a somewhat rough start in life, Roman is obviously grateful for everything that comes his way. He has a gentle, sweet disposition, does well with other dogs and loves kids. As you can see from Roman's photo, all he wants is someone to hold his paw and love him. He also knows sit, stay, and no and loves tennis balls. Roman was surrendered by his "owners" who have had him since December. He showed up at their home and stayed, which happens so often. Sadly, Roman was kept outside, so he is likely not really housebroken (although sometimes they won't go to the bathroom in the house because it is weird to them). He is also heartworm positive, which our medical team will treat, as always. To make his life a little more complicated, Roman has an eye condition known as entropion (think eyelash in your eye). This surgery will also be handled by our medical team. Thankfully, Roman is one of those dogs who consider a crate their "safe place". That makes his recuperation easier for both of you.
