I realized that I became allergic because of his fur and I did not realize you should not shave a double coated dog and it’s not fair to him. I would like to find a home that is going to give him the love and care and exercise he needs. He is a big kid who will be miss located in Fresno, California.

He was rescued in rough shape emaciated and tied with a belt and rope but despite his tough start, he’s proven to be incredibly affectionate and eager to bond with people. Gus Gus is smart, playful, and thrives on attention and companionship. He’s looking for an active home where he can be part of the family and have room to run and play. He would do best in a home without cats, as he has a strong prey drive, but he’d likely thrive with other dogs and a family that can give him the structure and love he deserves. This handsome boy loves to cuddle, enjoys exploring, and would make a wonderful adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to give you his whole heart, Gus Gus is your guy!

In his previous home, he learned a few basic commands and is wanting to continue that routine. He does get along well with other dogs and is great on the leash. He is thoughtful and observant, and he enjoys a gentle approach to life.
