Lightning was brought to the shelter when his owner had to move and couldn't take him with her. He is a little shy at first. He is great with children, other dogs, and cats. He is also housetrained. Lightning is still a young dog, so he is playful. He loves to play fetch. He prefers women to men, but warms up to men in time. In fact, he's very sweet once he gets to know you. Lightning graduated from the Puppies for Parole Program, so knows commands and expected behaviors. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 57.6 Age: 3yrs 5mths 1wks

Lexi was found in Eldon and while she was microchipped, when the owner was tracked down, it turns out he had re-homed her years ago. So, we were unable to get her back to her family. She is a little older gal, but still gets around very well. She is super sweet and calm. She would make a great dog for someone who just wanted a friend to hang with on the couch. Lexi is super laid back and gets along great with other animals. She is great on a leash and knows some commands. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 55.6 Age: 9yrs 3mths 0wks

Michael was brought to the shelter by animal control after they fished him out of The Lake. He was being chased by some geese and didn't like that at all. While he had a harness on and we were sure someone would come looking for him, no one did. He is friendly with people and other dogs and is good walking on a leash. Michael is housetrained and a super sweet guy! We don't know how he is with cats. He's an energetic dog and would do best in a home that can give him an outlet for this energy.
