Story
Pickles was abandoned by his family near Marengo and left outside to fend for himself. My friend and I went to go rescue him and I decided to keep him. However, after a little over a year he still is not getting along with my other two cats. He’s a sweet boy (just not to my cats), and we’ll be nose to nose when I pet him. He is definitely an indoor outdoor cat. He knows how to use a pet door. And he’s pretty clever about opening a door that we have with a loose latch where he lets himself in and outside. He loves to be warm and likes to lay in the sun, on our heated floor or cushy blankets. He prefers to go to the bathroom outside but during winter he used the litter box. I think he would be best as a single pet- although he does hold his own with my two dogs. We are not sure how old he is, but think around three years old. What I want most for him is to find a forever home where he’s happy and has a loving home.
