Story
CUTIE ALERT Cedar is such a happy boy! He is 2 years old and the perfect size at 35lbs. It has been so rewarding to watch him decompress and find joy and a sense of safety after living the shelter life. He has a little limp from a previous injury that healed incorrectly. He doesn't let his leg slow him down in the slightest and will be getting surgery by a board certified orthopedic surgeon. REPORT CARD His favorite activities include playing with squeaky toys, chewing on bully sticks and taking naps. He is content to play by himself, but he also really loves playing with my two resident dogs. I would say he is medium energy level and easy going with other dogs. I can tell he enjoys being part of the pack. He doesn't bark a whole lot, but when he does, it's pretty adorable! Cedar hasn't had any accidents in the house (other than occasional marking because he is not yet neutered) Crate trained - he sleeps through the night in his crate and hangs out there when we are not home. He does like to be near his people at night though, even when he's in his crate. We think Cedar might have some border collie or another herding breed in him because he enjoys herding our cats, so I recommend not leaving him unattended until he is more desensitized to them and can be trusted. He hasn't had much experience on a leash, but he is pretty food motivated and would be able to learn quickly. Apply to adopt at rosierescue.org
