🐾 Meet Bella: The Tiny Dynamo with a Heart of Gold! 🐾
Say hello to Bella, a sweet and spunky Pug / Italian Greyhound mix (probably has some Chi and other mutt-mixes!) with a zest for life and a heart as big as her personality! At nine years young, Bella’s looking for her forever home where she can share her endless love and infectious energy. We're guessing but her temperament, ears, graceful paws and facial shading makes us guess she's got some Italian Greyhound or maybe some whippet or pug or chihuahua in her.. she's just super special!
Bella’s Background: Bella’s story is a tale of love and resilience. Her dad, who had her since she was a pup, became homeless and made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her so she wouldn’t have to live outdoors. Despite the tough transition, Bella’s adjusting wonderfully and is ready to find her new family.
Why You’ll Love Bella:
* Friendly & Snuggly: Bella’s the ultimate cuddle bug and loves being around people. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her the perfect addition to any family.
* Independent Streak: While Bella loves affection, she’s got a touch of independence too. She’ll dance on her hind legs like a little acrobat to make sure you’re paying attention!
* Low Maintenance: Bella doesn’t have separation anxieties and tolerates her crate overnight, especially with a bit of positive reinforcement.
* Responds to Her Name: Call her name, and Bella comes running with a curious head tilt as if asking, “Whacha got for me?!”
* Circus Dog Potential: At nine years old, she’s still spry and loves to perform her signature dance on her hind legs. She’s the perfect mix of chill cuddle buddy and playful companion.
* Quiet as a Mouse: Bella rarely barks, even when the doorbell rings. She’s a housetrained little lady, though she might need a confidence boost in a new environment.
* Treat Hider Extraordinaire: Give her a slightly oversized treat, and Bella will find the perfect hiding spot to save it for later—even if “later” is just five minutes away.
* Kiss Master: Bella’s a pro at giving kisses, especially when she’s getting to know you. She’s a tolerant little gal who handles baths, grooming, and teeth brushing like a champ because she knows treats are coming her way.
A Few Health Notes: Bella has a mild heart murmur and a mast cell tumor (MCT) that’s inoperable, but don’t tell her that—she’s blissfully unaware and continues to be her energetic self! She’s looking for compassionate parents who’ll love her and care for her through thick and thin.
Bella’s Ideal Family: At 16 lbs of lean, long-legged cuteness, Bella’s looking for a family who’ll cherish her despite her health conditions. She’s got BIG dark eyes and a sleek little nose that’ll melt your heart. Can you provide the loving home she deserves? Bella’s waiting to shower you with all the love and affection she has to give!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
