Tinsel is a 5 year old spayed, mini-sheepadoodle. Although a lady doesn’t like to admit her weigh, Tinsel will gently let you know that she is a trim 40 pounds. She was formerly used for breeding so she doesn’t have much experience with…well, pretty much anything. She is a super smart dog. Her foster mom says Tinsel has come a long way. She is gaining confidence and starting to get curious. Hi, I’m a sweet, girl that really likes to cuddle. I’m about 80 pounds and really cute. How can you resist my beautiful blue eyes? Just check out my photo. And this is before I get a “spa” day. Foster mom says I’m kinda stubborn. Well, what does she expect? I’m an Old English Sheepdog! Ok, a bit more about me. I’m just six years old. Right now I’m working on a career change. I was formerly used for breeding. But now, I’m gaining the skills to be a canine companion. It’s not easy, but I’m working on it. House training? Well, I’ve never been a house before. Foster mom says I’m pretty clean in the kennel though. Leash training….I’ll need you to help me on that also. By the way, I’d also like to learn about toys. I haven’t had any before but one of the other dogs here says they are a lot of fun. I probably should be an only dog. I’ll need a fenced in yard. What are you waiting for? Brewster was dearly loved by our late secretary and board member, Lauren McIntyre, and he’s now ready to share his love with a new family. Brewster, born on June 8, 2015, is a snuggle enthusiast and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He enjoys being the top dog in his home, making him a perfect companion for families without other dominant pets. Brewster is well-behaved during grooming sessions and thrives at doggie daycare. This sweet boy has some dietary needs due to protein allergies and does best on a soy diet with vegetable treats like sweet potato chips. Brewster loves to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. He also gets anxious during thunderstorms, but medication given an hour before predicted storms can help ease his anxiety.
