Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lil-Beth will be arriving in Maine on Saturday 29th March.  We are happy to accept and process applications before she arrives. Lil-Beth was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas with her siblings, arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on Saturday 29th March. We post our available dogs in states across the east coast and Canada to reach as many people as possible in hopes to find perfect homes and families. We do not transport dogs, families must come to the rescue in Sebec, Maine to meet and then hopefully take home. We would like to adopt Lil-Beth and her sister Pheobe together as they are bonded and have been through so much together. These dogs are HIGH MAINTENANCE in regards of GROOMING! Lil-BET is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, and in March 2025 weighed 42 pounds and has an estimated date of birth of August 2023. We can not say for sure what the breed is, we expect families to decide looking at any pictures and video's provide and decide if the breed is a good fit for their family. Lil-Beth was saved with her brother and sister who had been dumped at the shelter severely matted and neglected. When GaDaH confirmed their commitment to take them, they were placed with an amazing foster family who groomed them and has been working with them the past month whilst waiting for transport. This is what the shelter relayed from the foster family:  Why You’ll Love Lil Bit: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Friendly & affectionate – Loves to be around people! &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Great size – At 42 lbs, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion. Could put on some more weight. &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Doodle mix – Fluffy, adorable, and likely low-shedding! &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Playful & loving – Enjoys both cuddle time and outdoor fun. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Lil Beth is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted she is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet girl. Story
Meet Ollie, URGENT HELP FOR THIS SWEET BOY! MIRACLES HOME NEEDED ONLY DOG HOME OR HE WILL BE KILLED! Ollie was acquired from a breeder in 2019 and can be considered a "COVID" puppy, raised by parents who worked from home, which limited his socialization. He had an older Great Dane brother with whom he initially got along, but over time, Ollie has become increasingly reactive and territorial. To prevent the need for rehoming, the owners have been effectively crate rotating and keeping the dogs apart. However, during this separation, Ollie developed anxieties related to the human children leaving the house, resulting in barking and drooling. Recently, he’s been nipping at the kids leaving for school. The owner noted that Ollie is a wonderful companion when only adults are present, enjoying cuddles and playtime as usual. PLEASE IS HIS HERO OUT THERE AND WILL THEY BE FOUND IN TIME ! TEXT KAREN 4136298152
