Story
Honey is about 60lbs, American bulldog mix. She just turned 1 in July (estimated) and is still very much a puppy. I rescued her from Pinellas Animal Services. She was found wandering the streets in Clearwater by police. She is very sweet, but I think her previous owner played rough with her as a puppy and she gets excited very easily. She is smart and we've taught her a few things, but she still needs obedience training. I have 2 children, 8 & 13, and she is sweet with them. My kids aren't always at my house and my boyfriend and I work a lot and I don't feel she is getting the attention she deserves. She needs a yard to run in. She is an heavy chewer and is always walking around with a bone in her mouth. She loves to chase around a ball, just make sure it's indestructable!

Story
Carlie Piglet aka the Carlie Bug Is looking for her forever home. She’s a 2 year old, 3/4 English Bulldog and 1/4 Beagle. Does that make her a Bugle?! Carlie is SO sweet but HIGH energy and while she knows basic commands, she needs formal training. She’s very strong and can knock people over when she jumps on them. Not ideal for small children. She’d love to be in a house with another high energy dog or a very active person. 4 mile walk is not a problem on a cool day. Dog parks are her jam. She is obsessed with going to little league baseball games. She watches the ball the entire time. She’s an inside dog. Just like most Bulldogs, she has allergies. She came from a rescue and we have had her for just over a year. Unfortunately, my husband hates her and Carlie has now picked up on this. I can get training for Carlie but I can’t change my husband’s attitude. She is crate trained but does not need to be locked up more than a 2-3 hours during the day. 8 hours at night is fine.

Story
Hey all! It’s me, Nala, looking for my forever home! I came into rescue several months ago and I didn’t feel too well back then. I lived my life on the streets scavenging for food. I only weighed 17 lbs then but with the help of SSBR and my foster family, I’ve blossomed to a healthy and muscular 55lb lady! I love to play independently and with my fur siblings. I built my muscles doing zoomies in the yard, but I also love squeaky toys and nylon bones. I love my humans hard but I’m scared of strangers so I need a quiet and patient home who can show me all the love I deserve.
