But to adopt a pet it doesn't matter where you live as long as you are willing to travel into our Centres:
Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society in Kitchener
Stratford Perth Humane Society in Stratford

  • 1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
  • 2. Meet the Pet
  • 3. Submit Application

Additional adoption info

*Please note that walk-in appointments are welcomed and encouraged, and will be prioritized over online applications.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your environment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
