UNleashed Animal shelter in South English, IA

Who is UNleashed? We are a state and federally licensed all volunteer 501c3 nonprofit privately owned, no kill animal shelter. Based out of the Keokuk Couty, Iowa area. We are dedicated to the rescue, prosperity and placement of the cats we reach, through our adoption and TNR programs. Primarily a foster-based animal shelter / rescue. We are purchasing an old slaughterhouse, and converting it into a small animal shelter. A place that once took lives, now saves them.
We rarely take and owned animal as we focus on saving the lives of animals off the street. We are not locally federally, state or county funded, we are just a few individuals trying to make a difference in an underserved area.

Additional adoption info

We have four main things that are an absolute before we will adopt to anyone. We are a small privately owned shelter. We must ensure we are doing right by each animal. First we need to know adopting is a well thought out decision. Our adopters need to be 21 and older. If our adopters have pets, they must be spayed or neutered. If we have an adapter, that rents. They must have at the very least a 2 year renters agreement.
