Animal rescue in Nashua, NH

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization registered in Washington State, USA. We are volunteer based and receive all our funding and supplies through donations. We rescue stray dogs, give medical treatments and make sure they are healthy and socialized before arranging their adoption in a new home. Most of our dogs are flown to the States. We believe in teamwork and volunteer with other rescue groups and the Spay-a-thon.



After hurricane Maria caused such devastation, we all found ourselves dedicating more and more time to the effort of animal rescue. We have saved and found homes for hundreds of dogs since the storm. It has been quite a challenge, but well worth the effort!



We plan to develop and implement additional programs including capture-spay/neuter-release to supplement our ongoing rescue effort.

Most of our animals are rescued in the northeastern section of Puerto Rico. Please see our webpage for the complete list of SAFPR's available pets. https://saveafriendpr.rescuegroups.org. We often have pets in foster homes in various locations.
