Our mission is to provide humane and ethical treatment of all companion animals including; stray, homeless, abused and unwanted. To accomplish this we foster these animals until an adoptive home can be found that will care for them properly. Our next priority is to facilitate the spay and neuter of all companion animals in our community and to educate the public on the humane treatment of all animals.

In 4 years
•PWP has adopted 854 dogs and cats

•PWP has rescued 1641 dogs and cats from county animal shelters; transferring them to no-kill rescue groups where they have been adopted to forever homes.

•PWP has facilitated the spay & neuter of over 2,400 dogs and cats

•PWP has distributed over 12 TONS of dog & cat food to families in need

•PWP has conducted over 300 humane investigations

•PWP has assisted more than 100 families with funds for emergency veterinarian care

•PWP contracts with Mason County to operate their animal shelter and has reduced the euthanasia rate from over 90% to 16% in 26 months, saving the lives of 1,222 dogs and cats.

•PWP has joined forces with ASPCA & HSUS to put an end to Puppy Mills
