Sweetheart Sanctuary Animal rescue in Vienna, VA

Sweetheart Sanctuary is a strictly volunteer organization comprised of a group of foster homes throughout the Northern Virginia area. The exempt purpose of Sweetheart Sanctuary is charitable and classified under Virginia Federation of Humane Societies. In an effort to give quality of life and decrease the numbers of offspring to dogs and cats which are often discarded, injured, or suffer from starvation, we are committed to providing food, shelter, emergency medical care, and spay/neuter procedures to animals in kill shelters as well as stray and abandoned animals in cases of emergency
and as space permits.

Sweetheart Sanctuary is a no-kill, home-based rescue group, located in Vienna, VA, dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for homeless dogs and cats. We serve Virginia communities, primarily: The Counties of Fairfax, Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George and Caroline as well as the the City of Fredericksburg.

We require an adoption application be completed, a home visit scheduled and a contract be signed in order to adopt from our rescue.
