Animal rescue in Pulaski, TN

We believe that pets are family members who fill our lives with joy and meaning. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue group that strives to make a difference in the lives of animals within our rural community in south central Tennessee. Through our Spay/Neuter Program for Giles County residents we know that the result will be a huge reduction in the amount of unwanted cats and dogs in our County.

Rescues exist because of the overpopulation of cats and dogs. About 2.4 million healthy, adoptable cats and dogs are put down in U.S. shelters each year. Often these animals are the offspring of cherished family pets. Spay/Neuter is a proven way to reduce pet overpopulation, ensuring that every pet has a family to love them.

The Giles County Humane Association lends a voice to those animals who cannot speak for themselves.

We require interested parties to complete our adoption application with veterinarian and personal references. If approved we will work with you to schedule a meeting with the pet, and if you decide to adopt, our contract is the last step. We do not adopt to homes with intact pets or to people under 21 years of age.
