Additional adoption info

An adoption application is required by all potential adopters and will be reviewed by Kreacher Konnections' Board for approval. We are looking to see a good track record of caring for previously owned pets and to match the family's lifestyle with the dog or cat's needs. This process may require a vet check, a phone interview or a home interview - Kreacher Konnections wants potential families to be prepared for their new member and to ensure a good fit both for the humans and the animals. The process typically takes about a week depending on the schedules of volunteers and adopters.

Fees vary by animal and pay for the pet to be spayed or neutered, wormed, vaccinated and heartworm or FIV/FelV tested prior to adoption.

All adopters will be required to sign a contract at the time of adoption pledging to care for the pets physical and emotional well being. All aspects of the contract will be fully discussed with adopters before signing.
