Tennessee Death Row Dogs, Inc - ME Chapter Dog rescue in Freeport, ME

Tennessee Death Row Dogs, Inc, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 and is based in Spring Hill, TN. We are an all volunteer group that works tirelessly to network and rescue dogs which are scheduled for euthanasia in TN. There are so many kind, loving, healthy dogs dying in TN everyday simply because shelters need their kennel to house incoming dogs. We rescue as many of these dogs as we can and adopt them out to loving families all over the country. Visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tndeathrowdogs

Rescue FAQs

Tennessee Death Row Dogs is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to save dogs who are facing euthanasia in the state of TN.
The Freeport, Maine, branch was founded in February, 2014 and we are very excited at the additional number of lives this location will help us save.
TDRD North in Freeport is currently looking for foster homes and volunteers in both Maine and New Hampshire. We look forward to adopting our wonderful dogs to adopters in all of New England!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts by filling out our adoption application. If approved, we will set up a meet and greet time with adopters and the dog of their choice. If adopters decide to adopt one of our amazing dogs, there is a 3 page adoption contract that we require them to fill out at the time of adoption. We also ask for a $350 adoption donation fee which reimburses us for the dog's vaccinations, fecal exam and deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter and microchipping. The donation also includes their health certificate for travel out of TN ($25), and transport cost to New England ($125).
