H.O.P.E. Rescue

Animal rescue in Jennings, OK

We are a rescue group that initially started because of the conditions of the pound in Jennings and saw the great need for a rescue in this area. Hope stands for Helping Oklahoma Pets Endure. Hope was named after one of her rescues. Her name was Hope and she was abandoned by her owners while she was pregnant. They had moved away and left her. Luckily mom and pups were found and brought to us. We strive to help every dog that comes across our path as long as we have the means to do so. We not only help them but also give them the love and tools to be a loving forever family member. We take in dogs that have been abused and neglected, dogs that come from hoarding or puppy mill situations, and dogs that the owners can no longer take care of due to health reasons. All our babies are in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes.

Additional adoption info

Puppies and kittens are given three to 4 rounds of shots, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before going to their forever homes. Dogs and cats 6 months and older are given age appropriate vaccines, rabies vaccine, deworming, heartworm testing and spay/neuter. All dogs are kept up to date on flea and heartworm preventative while in our care. Once you find a cat or dog from our rescue that you are interested in adopting you email us for an adoption app and then we will have one sent to you. We require a fenced yard, vet reference, home check, that all pets in the home be spayed/neutered, and adoption contract. Once you fill out the app we will check your vet reference and as long as all looks well you will get a call to set up a homecheck. A member of our group will come to your house to make sure your yard is safe and secure for the pet you are interested in. Once approved to adopt you will be contacted to either pick up your new family member or have him/her brought to you depending on distance. We strive in placing each and every dog or cat in the home that they are best fit for and the home that is the best for the dog or cat as well.
