The Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter’s mission is to balance the health, safety, and welfare of animals and the general population of Lafourche parish by promoting and motivating responsible pet ownership and adoption. LPAS houses unwanted and stray pets, operates an adoption program, a spay and neuter program, and assists the public in animal related problems.
