a. Community Food Bank: Helping families stay together during time of economic hardship is crucial, not only for the family, but also to the community. Wet Nose Rescues provides temporary assistance to financially stressed families with the goal of keeping animals in their home. We collect animal food and distribute it to those in the community who need it. Sometimes a family needs help just ONE time… Sometimes it’s a bit longer. And that’s okay; we are here to help the best we can.
i. If you are needing assistance with animal food, please contact WNR and an application will be sent to you. It simple asks for your name, address, number of animals, breeds/age/size, how long you anticipate needing assistance and how you heard about WNR.
ii. The WNR Food Bank runs completely off the kindness and generosity of compassionate donators. We are always in need of animal food donations; any brand, any size bags/cans.
b. Owner Release Rehoming Program: Wet Nose Resources understands that families often struggle with the decision to give up their pets. If you are unable to keep your animal because of circumstances in your life, we can help you.
c. Veterinary Care Referral Program: Wet Nose Rescue is committed to working with local animal welfare groups, animal controls officers, social services and veterinarians by taking referrals to assist financially stressed families with veterinary care.
